Energy Revolution™ plant equipment at Alexandra Gate Business Park has been commissioned and is now generating electricity on site. The 20kW combined heat and power engine, high efficiency boiler systems and new heating pumps will provide the building with the majority of its electrical requirement and provide sufficient heat for all the buildings hot water requirements.
Installed by our GET IM team, this clever engine is reducing the sites carbon footprint as it uses 100% of the power it generates with little or no losses, unlike the previous traditionally sourced grid electricity. The CHP will generate circa 160,000 kWhs of electricity and 177,000 kWth of heat per annum for the offices which also includes a cafeteria, board room and meeting rooms.
